Questions – Kokai

Answers:

What are Kokai Keratin Fibers?
Kokai are magnetic nano fibers made of keratin protein, which is the same material that natural hair is made of. They are naturally derived and magnetized to attach to the static electricity of hair, making it look thicker and fuller. The result is an invisible scalp.

How does Kokai work against hair loss?
Kokai consists of magnetized keratin fibers that attach to existing hair and give it a much denser appearance. Keratin is the substance hair strands on the head and body are made of. After applying Kokai, areas affected by hair loss will disappear.

How long do Kokai fibers stay on the scalp?
Kokai can stay on the scalp up to 1 week or until you wash your hair. Using an additional fixing spray is recommended.

Can I use a hairdryer?
You can, of course, but it is recommended to dry your hair before using Kokai so that you don’t have to restyle your hair afterwards.

When should I use styling products – before or after Kokai?
It is recommended to use styling products before applying Kokai. Make sure your hair is dry because Kokai is applied on dry hair.

How is it applied?
Dry and comb your hair. After styling it as you like, hold the Kokai bottle 10 centimeters above your head and sprinkle carefully over thinning hair. You can gently tap and shape your hair with your hand. Apply Nivea Stronghold Spray from 20 centimeters distance to fix the fibers in case of rain and wind.

Should I use Nivea Stronghold spray?
The advantages of Nivea Stronghold Spray are its proven ability to fix and hold keratin fibers on the scalp. It dries very quickly and adds shine and strength to the hair.

How long does a 25-gram bottle last?
Between 50 and 100 applications or about 2-3 months with regular use.

How can they be removed?
Simply wash your hair with shampoo as usual.

Who can use Kokai hair fibers?
Kokai Hair Fibers can be used by both men and women. They are gentle enough to be used by children as well.

Does Kokai affect my hair growth?
Kokai does not stimulate hair growth or hair loss. Natural keratin fibers do not clog pores or affect scalp condition. Kokai is a topical solution to thicken hair.

Can poor nutrition cause hair loss?
Radical weight loss diets can indeed cause reactive hair loss. But reactive hair loss (Telogen Effluvium) is different from hereditary hair loss. Hereditary hair loss is the most common form and accounts for the majority of cases in both men and women. Telogen Effluvium is a limited and temporary hair loss that resolves on its own. Generally, hair loss lasts about 3-4 months followed by an additional 3-4 months for hair to recover to its previous state. Other conditions that may cause Telogen Effluvium include anemia, pregnancy, general anesthesia, and trauma. If you have Telogen Effluvium as well as hereditary hair loss, your hair may not regrow as fully as it was before the temporary loss.

What is considered normal hair loss?
Most people lose between 50-100 hairs per day, which is considered normal hair loss. This is balanced by new hair growth through three phases: anagen (growth phase), catagen (transition phase), and telogen (resting phase). Daily loss of 150 hairs is considered significant. If you start noticing more hair than usual in the shower drain, on your pillow, or in your hairbrush, it may be hair loss and/or thinning.
